This Attack team just doesn't go away. What a relentless bunch. Too many grade A's surrendered tonight to a high powered Windsor offense but they stuck with it and battled all night.

We'll have to wait and see on any supplemental discipline on Bleicher but we could be down to 5 D for the rest of the weekend. Can't imagine they are able to bring in reinforcements for a road trip state side.

Wow, our defence is starting to sound like a blues song..

"if it wasn't for bad luck , we wouldn't have no luck at all".

The Bleicher major was a dangerous play but I don't think it was anything malicious. I think he was expecting a man on man battle going back on the puck and went to leverage his body and Davis had other ideas which led to the awkward hit into the boards. I don't know if it warrants a suspension or not personally. Wouldn't surprise me if he got a couple games given the injury. I think as long as it's a short suspension then the Attack have to just ride it out short handed through the weekend. If it's longer than that, the Attack don't play again until next weekend and have time to search for another body if need be.

Funny in a way. We carried 8 D last season and two never played because the Attack didn't really suffer any injuries or suspensions through the year. We change plans and carry 7 D this year and of course have issues with injury. Way she goes I guess.

Appears we'll be shorthanded for the game today. No Varosyan and Kindree now out. Only 11F listed. Bedkowski listed as RES taking warm ups but I'd be shocked if he was ready to go that early after they talked about mid November return for him. Another test for this young squad.

Before getting upset at the Flint game, I remind myself this is a rebuilding season.

Lots of youth. The effort was there for the most part.
Moving forward.
Honestly, I had no problem with the game yesterday. Some early mistakes end up in the Attack net that put them in a hole but overall I thought they played a decent game. Day was good enough to slam the door and didn't give them anything offensively and that will happen from time to time in the game of hockey. We've seen George do that to other teams. Another learning lesson. We'll see how they bounce back today,

We will take the pt .
Going into the game, absolutely. Up 4-1? You want the two points. Those are the tough lessons with a young team that they will have go through to learn how to close out games. Full marks though to take a point off a good Saginaw team.

Now we've got a full week until next Saturday's rematch between these two clubs.

They played good both games while missing some key pieces. Itā€™s a fun, young squad. I think the Alec Leonard acquisition is gonna really pay off for the Attack too.

A great trip to Michigan to visit our hockey friends

Varosyan and other Russian players cannot play in the USA this year.

Entertaining game today. George great as usual. PK had to be good, especially in the first. OHL officiating can be a mystery.

It's the inconsistency that is confusing. Yesterday #28 Attack crosschecks a Knight in the crease. Clear penalty. #13 London comes in behind that play and crosschecks an Attack player. No call. What is the difference?
