As a hounds fan, If I could find a way to bet on this game I'd put my money on the attack winning game 7. That's how much faith I have in my team.
It can go either way. If Soo wins, I won't be surprised. They're at home in front of their fans. Like Millpond said, this is bonus hockey for the attack. No one expected the attack to still be here.

If I was told a game 7 between the Attack and Hounds would be happening I'd scratch my head and laugh.

Guzda has shown he can step in when called upon and the team changed there tactics against the Hounds offensive push. Guzda make huge game changing saves hard to believe that he's only 16yo.

Game 7 anything can happen and this team has battled through adversity all season and battled back to get where they are now.

Hi all,

Things I am a fan of -
1) Sault Greyhounds
2) Hockey in general

Thankfully, the second will typically allow for grace during heartbreak.

That said, credit to relentless pressure and a great game plan. To echo someone’s point from earlier, it’s a shame one of these teams will be done after this series.
Can’t wait for Tuesday night and best of luck.

Despite all the emotions from fans of both teams, this has been barn burning ol fashioned playoff hockey.

It should be no surprise to anyone who follows the league with any regularity, that the refereeing is in consistant.
It has been for years.

Both these teams have shown they are capable of elevating their games.

When Todd Gill arrived, his calm demeanor behind the bench was something fairly new to us Attack fans in recent years.

Conversely, Drew Bannister hardly said boo when he coached here, yet upon his return as Soo head coach, he's become a fire breathing dragon at times.

Don't think those coaching styles aren't lost on the players. They follow their mentors' examples.

Despite polar opposite styles, and largely different paths, these two teams have arrived at exactly the same place 8 months later.

We will see which style prevails Tuesday.

Every call ? It's after every whistle, end of each period . It never ends with the Hounds.

Funny that you describe Bannister this way. He gets soundly criticized by Soo fans for showing no emotion.

Even the Owen sound broadcasters thought there were phantom calls against the hounds so maybe they were asking those 4 stooges what the hell is going on here

Same can be said gor Gadjovich and Mackenzie. I have never seen someone so full of words. Must have used every word in the dictionary to these refs in game 5.
