He has been so good these last 3-4 games. Besides a couple outlier "rookie" games he's gotten progressively better every single game.

Very much reminds me of Pronger/Niedermayer (with differences, obviously).
Power may be developing into an elite #1 sooner than we expected. I was expecting a Myers rookie year. However, Power has exceeded expectations

Yeah, if Buffalo can fix the sh*t show after thier top three defenseman. And get some good goaltending.

Power doesn't look like a rookie out there and does well controlling the puck. I think he makes less mistakes than Dahlin in his rookie season that being said he needs to clean up the penalties and get more in tune in the offensive end. It will come.

It was also different coaches, team and partners. It's definitely easier for Power to enter the NHL when he already has Dahlin and Samuelsson and a good coach who knows how to work with young players.

All of that aside if you watch both of them play you could see Dahlin has a hesitation in his game and tried to make cute plays at the wrong times. How many times on the power play did the puck jump over his stick for a break away when he was a rookie? Coaches don't make pucks jump. Where as Power looks more comfortable perhaps the rink sizes played a role in it too.

Well, everyone makes mistakes, Power does too. But then again, Dahlin went through a terrible coaching school Krueger, it knocked him out psychologically, but now he is one of the best defenders in the NHL. Power was lucky not to know the idiot Krueger.

This is how I talk about it when you are psychologically in a bad state (because of the coach), who constantly puts pressure on you, who does not allow you to play attack, often puts you on the bench, because of this, mistakes constantly occur. Have you seen the interviews Dahlin and Granato? They talk about it there. Rasmus said that he was constantly afraid to make a mistake and therefore made mistakes, but why was he afraid to make a mistake? Because the coach used a stick, not a carrot. Granato said that he completely gave freedom to Dahlin and said not to be afraid to make mistakes, play on instincts, and now Dahlin is playing, now of course he is more experienced, but I am 100% sure that the coaching approach is very important, especially for young players.But we don't see those mistakes anymore.
