He’s young…he could get meaner. Not even remotely mean enough but I'll certainly take the rest.

Part of the problem is that is an inherent trait either you have it or not. The other part is his size, being bigger than everyone else hitting people most likely resulted in lots of penalty minutes so most coaches would have curbed thatHe could, but even in juniors Pronger was nasty to play against.
Mind you it’s also easier to do when your backup was Dave Roche, Matt Johnson, Geordie Kinnear, and Mike Harding.

It also depends on what he grew up playing. Like Dahlin grew up playing C, and at times he looks like one. It’s also why you still see him try to swipe the puck instead of levelling the guy.
As for Power, hopefully this fanbase waits a game or two before shredding him.
Hopefully this fanbase can get a thicker skin by that time, because there will be criticisms of Power's play that are warranted, that will be observations that won't be tied into one's longer term trajectory of said player.
Otherwise it will become just one big circle...
If criticisms aren't welcome please let all know this.
There’s a huge difference between “he needs to work on XX” and “trade him while he still has value!” You know this.
But no, let’s act like I’m saying we can’t say anything bad about him.
Is there now? Because it seems those that criticize player that often make "he needs to work on XX" comments are read by other posters as "trade him while he still has value" and react accordingly. At the very least people always use excuses of said issues by saying "he's young, he'll get better, and other excuses".
Lot's of people don't want to see or hear the warts of said players. It happens a lot here.
Actually in junior hockey I saw Pronger play lots and he wasn't aggressive at all. When he got bigger and stronger at the NHL level did he become a nightmare to play againstNot even remotely mean enough but I'll certainly take the rest.
He actually did have at least one: Mississauga Senators at Michigan United - Shanahan/Warrior Ice Hockey Tournament - on Pointstreak Sports TechnologiesTSN's intermission mentioned that was Power's first ever hattrick. One would think he'd have had one at some lower level before.
Are we sure Power is going to make the team next year?

Seems to me that he has a bad memory, confirmed bust.

Talk about Buffaluck. Stamkos can recall the details of every pass leading up to every goal since he was ten, we get the guy who can't remember his only other hat trick because he wishes he was playing lacrosse.Huge red flag. Obvious low hockey IQ.
Like anything else, the response tone is rooted in the delivery. An aggressive tone prompts a defensive response. Carefully crafted statements can almost always determine the response. Is there now? Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
Trevor Zegras was mic'ed up, and he said he's never had a hat trick.TSN's intermission mentioned that was Power's first ever hattrick. One would think he'd have had one at some lower level before.
Very true. But if the writer is trying to accomplish a different response, they shouldn't be swayed by such things. The tone read can also be taken differently by the reader if the reader has a view on the writer and what they think they are trying to say.
