i think the real question we should be asking is: will power join the ranks of the elite young super defensemen like fox and makar in his rookie year? cause that seems to be a decently probable scenario

Having 2 of the top 5 or so defensemen in the league would be nice

Though he may have more of an offensive upside than advertised.
Yeah even though he's big and doesn't play like fox or someone, from what I've seen his best work is done with the puck, rather than in the d zone. Maybe I'm wrong tho

I think I underestimated his offensive ceiling. You don't really know the prospect unless you see full games live tbh. We may have a stud. Called him a "decent d-man who'd go 20-30 in most drafts" lol. He still may be, but this year is extremely encouraging & I am very excited for his future with the Buffalo Sabres.

The guy no one believes in anymore on my avatar. (No one believed in Thompson 20 games ago either).

Yeah, Dahlin is an elite d-man. I still believe that. His game has tightened up a ton this year and he's playing tough tough minutes every night. Not sure how no one can set that. Top 5? I just don't see that unless he becomes a super elite offensive player. His skating is just average, maybe a bit better than that because of his smarts. In all out races, he loses so many. And he will get slower with age. I wonder if he can work on his skating and he has another gear.
