i think the real question we should be asking is: will power join the ranks of the elite young super defensemen like fox and makar in his rookie year? cause that seems to be a decently probable scenario

Though he may have more of an offensive upside than advertised. He isn't that sort of defenseman though.
Who would be the second one?Having 2 of the top 5 or so defensemen in the league would be nice

Yeah even though he's big and doesn't play like fox or someone, from what I've seen his best work is done with the puck, rather than in the d zone. Maybe I'm wrong thoThough he may have more of an offensive upside than advertised.

This reinforces just how large a human being Owen Power is when they all get together to celly and Power looks like the oversized kid playing Pee Wee that other parents make jokes about him driving himself to games.
The guy no one believes in anymore on my avatar. (No one believed in Thompson 20 games ago either).
Does he burn a year of entry level contract if he comes up for less than 9 after college season?
Wasn’t he advertised as 6’5 or 6’6 before he was drafted?
Power now has 23 points in 16 games.
For comparison, Cale Makar had 21 points in 34 college games at the same age.
