If he makes the team next year which I'm sure he likely will, my guess would be 3rd pairing. Granato seems like a guy who will give him every chance to succeed but will also probably keep his minutes down and let him acclimate and develop.

He may start on the 3rd pair, but I suspect his play will force himself into the #1 role, like Myers did after about 5 games

My guess is that the rankings are based on %, as opposed to the amount scored.

Like 13 for 25 is better than 25 for 53, even though it’s half the amount scored.

Yeah, feels like his career is on a halfway point the way he is being hyped around. I hope he retires early enough so he can still enjoy college life
