So you're saying that if players want to play in small markets that's fine but they should be paid less for doing so. Big markets like Toronto shouldn't be penalized as much as they are cause they bankroll the NHL.
their are pros and cons to everything so basically yeah. there's a reason why they are a smaller market, and there's a reason why you're not in the spotlight. that's your decision and you make it, just like if i want to work for a smaller company i can't demand to be paid the same as i would in a fortune 500 one.
you (and a lot of players) want the bread buttered on both sides and not leave a messs on the plate and go "well you should keep their players." which is fair but why should the rich teams pay for the poorer teams to do so then be spat on on top of it. that doesn't sit right with me.
neither does the nonsense that teams should be 'punished' for making bad decisions though that's a horse of a different colour
