Thats not what I said though. Kessel certainly had a case but he wasnt robbed of it. What I said was that if you could of only had either Kessel or Crosby at the start of the playoffs are you really going with Kessel?

That's not how the Conn Smythe works, though. So kind of a pointless hypothetical.

I do not think anybody would have been against Kessel getting it. He was one of 3 or 4 possible candidate. My objection is when people say he was "robbed".

For sure. No issue with Sid winning it. Just seemed to have a "lifetime achievement" advantage over the others. Which is fine. I feel like if they'd known the Pens would win the next year some votes would have been different.

With a point tonight, Crosby can tie Stan Mikita for #15 all time with 1467. Coincidentally, if that one point is a goal, Sid will have the exact same number of goals and assists that Mikita retired with.
