Truly seems inevitable at this point. 24 goals in 39 games at 37 is remarkable. Even if he slows in the second half, another 20 goals at minimum seems realistic for 2022-2023. Probably more like 25.

There’s a reasonable outside chance he’s breaking the goals record before the calendar turns to 2025.

Stunning to think this record could fall in just two years time from today.

What's the status of All Star game this season? I haven't seen any chatter. Wonder if Ovi will once again skip it and sustain a one game penalty for it.

He probably will skip again. 3 on 3 hockey is too taxing for him now.

I actually think he has a shot at the rocket. Every player ahead of him currently has never hit 50 goals in their careers. Mcdavid is probably the toughest competitor with his current lead and ability.
no chance of him catching mcdavid... but finishing 2nd with 50 goals is a real possibility.
