i dont think that is too likely, however, had he not missed his rookie year, and another 60 games to strike/covid, he would probably be around 870 today, and then ya - 1,000 is really on the menu.
Yep.The only legit arguments are the strike and covid, the lockout benefitted his game unless you think he'd be putting up the same numbers with dead puck era rules.
