I have a feeling Hendrix Lapierre will be Claude Giroux all over again lol, hopefully Guhle keeps progressing. But yea, french media will never let it go if he becomes a stud that's for sure
Imagine having Bowen Byram and Makar for the next few years? Hope the Colorado fans enjoy that.MAF may want to go back to his initial thought of retirement.

Thats really frustrating. I mean. We should never let a good Q player…. I really hope Guhle will become a good player. He needs to
With Devon Toews and Girard. Not sure the'll need a goalie XD If that team can't win a cup eventually it's going to be a fail of SJ proportion.Imagine having Bowen Byram and Makar for the next few years? Hope the Colorado fans enjoy that.
That is four very good defenceman, you're right. Definitely some good hockey to watch there (need Toews healthy). With Devon Toews and Girard. Not sure the'll need a goalie XD If that team can't win a cup eventually it's going to be a fail of SJ proportion.
for once in his career he's playing in a garbage team.MAF may want to go back to his initial thought of retirement.

Honestly...It'll be a sad day when Ovy retires. I legit think he can finish top 2 greatest scorer ever. Guy is a machine. Just incredible player.Capitals: Ovechkin is a game time decision.... Ovechkin: LOL what, here's 2 G and 2 A tonight

Romanov looked very promising as well.Didn't Lapierre had injury concerns though? I think that's why a lot of teams passed on him, but at least Guhle looks promising so that's comforting lol.
Hair is all Melrose has had going for him for the past 35 years .

He'd probably be close to 800 right now with the lockouts and two shortened COVID seasons.I think it’s safe to say he’s the greatest goal scorer ever. Can you imagine 80s goalies trying to save his shot. He would have got 100 a season.

Then there was the Trotz years where he didn't hit 40 goals in order to play a defensive system.
yes - Bruins in Mtl in Jan, and Habs @ Van in March.Any Habs fans watching the TNT broadcast? Gretzky is the man. I wonder if they'll have a Habs game?

If you put Ovy in the 80's, he doubles Gretzky's record AND is his own enforcer. I mean cmon, dudes smoked on the bench in the 80's lol

I meant OatsHe scored 53, 50, 33 and 49 under Trotz. There was just one off year.
I was replying to someone else who said this. Obviously if a player exactly like Ovy existed in the 80's...he'd have been from the future. If you put a French Foreign Legion battalion at Agincourt they would have smoked the English too...
You can't compare eras like this... You have to scale down Ovy as well to that era's equipment and training regimen...
