I have a feeling Hendrix Lapierre will be Claude Giroux all over again lol, hopefully Guhle keeps progressing. But yea, french media will never let it go if he becomes a stud that's for sure

He looks very good so far. To early to tell but he got more than enough potential to be worth his draft rank.

Thats really frustrating. I mean. We should never let a good Q player…. I really hope Guhle will become a good player. He needs to

Have had assets to acquire another 1st rounder last year. Could had been Lapierre or Mercer.

With Devon Toews and Girard. Not sure the'll need a goalie XD If that team can't win a cup eventually it's going to be a fail of SJ proportion.
That is four very good defenceman, you're right. Definitely some good hockey to watch there (need Toews healthy).

Didn't Lapierre had injury concerns though? I think that's why a lot of teams passed on him, but at least Guhle looks promising so that's comforting lol.
Romanov looked very promising as well.

Honestly...It'll be a sad day when Ovy retires. I legit think he can finish top 2 greatest scorer ever. Guy is a machine. Just incredible player.

I think it’s safe to say he’s the greatest goal scorer ever. Can you imagine 80s goalies trying to save his shot. He would have got 100 a season.

If you put Ovy in the 80's, he doubles Gretzky's record AND is his own enforcer. I mean cmon, dudes smoked on the bench in the 80's lol

If you put a French Foreign Legion battalion at Agincourt they would have smoked the English too... :eyeroll:

You can't compare eras like this... You have to scale down Ovy as well to that era's equipment and training regimen...

Needs a goal/game over his next 200 games to match the greatest goal scorer ever...

Yes, different eras. No, Gretzky didn't have the best shot of his Era... goal scoring is about more than the shot...

Ovie is one of the best. "The" best remains far out of reach imo

If Gretzky played in the 1920s he probably would have done decent too lol.

I was replying to someone else who said this. Obviously if a player exactly like Ovy existed in the 80's...he'd have been from the future.

Also, I think you grossly misread my sentence.
