yeesh i get why the isles had to do this but 8.5 for a 60 pt C until he's 35 is not good.
Another argument to draft well / trade for young players and sign them to term even
if it's a gamble.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Therrien talking about his expectations of Stamkos quickly led to him resigning. To go from Cooper to Therrien would be such a step down.
