Leafs could turn the corner with the right moves. Fire Shanahan. Fire Keefe (an idiot who dressed 7 stone hands over Robertson who has offensive ability). Hire Shanahan's replacement and he and Pelley need to decide on Treliving. Evaluate the moves he has made and meet with him to discuss plans for the future.

Freaking Fraud 4 (minus Willy) what is wrong with them? A Hollywood producer couldn’t script playoffs faillures like they do yearly.

Comeback from 3-1 deficit, they get the much important 1st goal in game 7. All the stats were on their side to finally win and somehow they crumble again.

This era has been incredibly disappointing. Blow this team up already, it’s long overdue.

Same shit every year...

Leafs fans/media are like goldfish. May is the "tear it down" mode for them, they will reset back to their "this is our year" mode in time for puck drop in October.

And the harsh truth for all the Leafs fans is the corporate suit representing Roger/Bell isn't there to rock the boat, his job is to make sure MLSE revenues keep growing at a predictable pace.
Keefe is in an uncomfortable position (altho his brand new extension hasn't kicked in yet), the rest of management can pretty much sleep like babies.

Watch Marner thrive in another hockey environment and make Canadian teams and markets look even worse, more brutal, more hopeless, more unforgiving.

Watch Tampa, Carolina, Anaheim, or even Seattle acquire Marner for a shockingly fair price and watch him thrive there.
If that's the case, so be it.

But I sure as f*** wouldn't want him on my team. No f***ing way.

I can see him playing well in either Anaheim or Seattle. They have big forwards that can score. They need a playmaker. Marner needs to be given room to operate. He doesn't get that in Toronto. It's not that big of a team.
