Gotta give it to Knoblach, too. In each series the Oilers looked like shit in the first 3 games, but then he made actual adjustments. He didn't just move players around, but changed the forechecking or defensive strategy. Meanwhile, his opponents didn't change anything. They were in, "we just have to play our game and keep with it" mindset.
He's a good coach. He's managed the Oilers defenciencies really well, while getting them to play to their strengths (speed & net drive).
