Kakko is a worse gamble as he is older. Dach was only 21 i mean he was a gamble like any prospects but he was not labelled a bust yet and not even close. Newhook was a bit closer to bust status but still one year younger than Kakko is atm. Kakko is almost 24 he's getting close to Chad Kilger status the price would need to be lower than NYR wound want.
And this is precisely what the usual suspects will ignore when Kakko gets moved for less than Newhook or Dach and they proceed to hold that up as proof of the Habs "mistake" or "bad judgement"
Context is a bridge too far for most hot takes.
I hope we take a flyer on Kakko. Change of scenery might help the guy unlock some of that offense upside, but if not, he's trending to be a very reliable depth forward and would be a good replacement for Armia
