I believe like Ducks fans do that the coach is a complete incompetent. Apparently Zegras is now a more complete player and is working hard in all 3 zones though. Don't know if that has anything to do with the head coach.

Ullmark and Swayman were overrated. Paying system goalies with light work loads $8+ million is a recipe for disaster. Most of the goalies that got big contracts that people universally hated at least had years of being clear cut number one goalies and great resumes.

Dump Dach ? They got a 13th OV pick for a player who is injury prone and a liability on his own zone... A great decision for them, not so much for us.

They also have cheap ownership... 20M under the cap this year. PV obviously hasn't referenced that publicly, but it's pretty clear he doesn't have the ability to use that cap room to help improve the roster. Couple that with there highest paid players (Terry, Killorn, Fowler, Gibson) all performing below expectations and that's a recipe for ongoing bottom feeding
 
Bruins may have the worst offense in the NHL but the amount of goals allowed with that defense and Swayman is unacceptable.

Becoming a starter after being in a pair system isn't easy. It's more mentally & physically challenging. Swayman faltering is largely due to him missing training camp. That was a dumb move by Boston. I expect him to get better as the season goes on.

Ullmark was good on a terrible team in Buffalo. It could be a system change is just throwing him off. Shots coming from different locations, etc.

Swayman salary dispute (and no camp) did not help him nor the Bruins. Or is it just because Ullmark is not there anymore ?

wasn't this the guy who, after the loss to Columbus the other day, argued in the Athletic that the team's poor performance and inconsistency warranted a change in leadership, effectively calling for Montgomery's shit-canning? Now he's all about the circumstances that caused JM to be fired. :huh: I hope he lists himself as one of those circumstances.
