Kane to Wings. Wouldnt minded him at 1M$. My bet is 4M$/1 year with Detroit

1 year, only 2.75M per CapFriendly...

After all those rumors of wanting multiple years at 4M+... That's quite the nice signing by Stevie Y !

We could probably have done it easily money-wise, Zito maybe didn't want to touch our depth (ability to carry a 22 or 23-men roster) for the chance of signing Patty ? Or maybe Kane just chose Detroit over us...

Lawson Crouse scoring at a 40-goal clip right now.

It doesn't happen often to me but he's one player I am still very sour about losing, especially under the circumstances it happened.

Kind of don't want to look back at all the details, but I guess they didn't have insurance on Bollard to simply LTIRetirement him?

It's his eight year in the league and second that he's on pace for 45ish points. I like him as a player but I don't think his points are something to be sour about.

I think it had something to do with money?:laugh: I'm pretty sure it was some stupid reason why they dumped him.

Yea, definitely had to do with money as Bollard was an anchor at 5.5mil.
Just don't recall why the Panthers were in a rush to ship him out if he could of been placed on LTIR unless they were still on the hook for the 5.5mil + active roster.

It's not his goal scoring but his overall play. He's been a hard nosed player with a scoring touch for his entire career. 20+ goal scorers like him don't grow on trees these days.
