Part of the whole "convince Bob it's not crunch time" campaign.
I’m honestly not sure who I’m rooting for in that Pens/Canes game. Pittsburgh winning would obviously help us more immediately, but if the Hurricanes win, Pittsburgh falls to WC1, and beating Buffalo would have us one point behind them both, with the #3 spot suddenly in reach.
That’s obviously the key. But with our final four being Buffalo, NYR and Ottawa (three bad teams), and a Boston team we just got three points out of four from in a week... I think it’s OK to look upward. As long as we keep winning, good things will happen.

While true, the Caps are probably really hoping they don’t have to play us as well.Looking at latest Caps games I’m not sure who’s going to be tougher - Caps or Bolts
Why do you say that? Not trolling, I’m just curious. While true, the Caps are probably really hoping they don’t have to play us as well.
Simply based on the fact that we’re much hotter right now than the Canes, and actually have a goalie (playoff Bob notwithstanding)Why do you say that? Not trolling, I’m just curious.
All good points.Simply based on the fact that we’re much hotter right now than the Canes, and actually have a goalie (playoff Bob notwithstanding)
Plus I always think rematches make for more difficult series’.
