It's really not his fault. In a shorten season he shouldn't be playing every game

I find him pretty overrated TBH. But his deal is fairly cheap for an experienced defenseman. I wouldn't hesitate for a second exposing him if we got to keep Galchenyuk on a good deal.

It's long been my opinion that the only reason he's so beloved is that he get paid peanuts. Toronto fans love them some guys near league minimum.

He paced for about 50 last year.

He isnt a 18-19 minute guy, but on the sens he plays those minutes and produces.

Ideally hes a 14-15 min 3rd liner who gives 35ish pts and PKs for you but sens have found him a spot and hes producing well

Seems to me the games vs OTT are the ones where the team relaxes on the defensive details. They know that even with an ok effort they can beat this team. Half efforts be most of the others end up in and L. That is the only excuse that makes sense to me.

My general thoughts on him are that he's just "guy". He's fine, but doesn't impress me compared to some of the top 5 guys around the league.
