Lias has looked very good this game, by far the most engaged I've ever seen.

At the same time, one goal does not erase many, many games of subpar play or the style with which he went about it. And it's weird to crow that he scored and be passive-aggressive while having Alzheimer's about all the previous 10-15-20 games.

Both those things are true, and he's also very young, and we can both be happy with his successes and acknowledge his shortcomings as both happen.

At the end of the NJD game (finaly 25ish seconds of regulation), he went to check someone into the boards and got kind of reverse-checked in the arm/shoulder area and he was holding his arm after that.
