Lias has looked very good this game, by far the most engaged I've ever seen.

At the same time, one goal does not erase many, many games of subpar play or the style with which he went about it. And it's weird to crow that he scored and be passive-aggressive while having Alzheimer's about all the previous 10-15-20 games.

Both those things are true, and he's also very young, and we can both be happy with his successes and acknowledge his shortcomings as both happen.

I saw similar games of him in Sweden @effen some years ago and scored goals for sure. We need to be patience with him, because talents develop at a different pace and some are really strong early 19-20 years old, but others need some additional years to adapt to NHL.

Beuke hit exactly 25 (5/20) once as an Oiler. That was his only season with 20 or more points

I think the Lindy Ruff experiment is over after this season thankfully. This coming from someone who was initially happy to have Ruff as part of the coaching squad.
