Wally has to get someone new on the show as at least a part time co-host.

Lets talk the draft in the latest show

Wally says he want Parekh.. no idea how to pronounce his name... says he is a BIG right shot D.. has no idea where he played. Intel you can take to the bank
They need to get someone who is more informed than they seem to be especially when it comes to the draft. I think Wally confused Parekh with Yakemchuk when he said he was a big RD, but Yorkie corrected him. Yorkie compared Parekh to Brannstrom.

Although they never mentioned his name, the guy who best fits their description of what the Sens need IMO is Yakemchuk RD. He is a right shot D, has NHL size, has a mean streak, good skater, hits like a truck, brings some offence, but needs work defensively & that can be taught. IMO Yakemchuk checks off all the boxes in terms of what Ottawa needs & could be NHL ready much sooner. Here is the link where they talk about Parekh & what they think the Sens need, it's around the 48:30 mark.

I think what Wally said is that he wants a mean D like Boro on the backend, when Parekh was brought up Yorkie said it could take him a while just to be as good as Brannstrom & it's more of the same. York said they need a big tough D who is hard to play against, clear the front of the net & win puck battles.

Good episode. Nice to see Simmer back and seemingly doing well.

Best show they’ve had in a long time. that show has an old man feel going to to Bobby Ryan were it seems kinda disorganized and they are always talking on air have something to do that makes the show seem like not the Prioroty - while they are doing the show

Yesterday it seemed like everyone wanted to be there and they were excited, Simmer was great and carried the show. He’s the best voice for just talking hockey in the city - York was at his best with Simmer there. Should go to him full time at least 1 time a week for a full break down.

Wally called Simmer a man of the little people, which was dumb. simmer is a man of the people - not the little People.

Great to hear Simmer back and in good form. Having a third person adds to the quality of the podcast. Saying that however, they have to be informed and have opinions on current hockey topics, especially when it comes to the Sens.
Simmer is not afraid to question the past and current situation with the Sens on all fronts.
Fair analysis that is a springboard for debate which is what a good podcast needs.
It would be nice to see Simmer get a weekly guest spot as Tuna 99 has suggested.

This was good (not sure if posted already).

Also enjoying Locked on Senators lately.

Got tired of coming in hot, Ian mendes, and even simmer.

Never listened to this Podcast before, but Simmer is on (I guess he's doing his glorious return tour) and they talk a bit about free agency

Looks like Simmers going to be a full-timer on CiH 👀

Simmer brings it all together, he makes Jason York a better voice just based on that extra enthusiasm he has in his voice when Simmer is there, Simmer making his teammates better, he really loosens York up. And the show characters wrok better because Wally can now be the nerdy, eccentric party pooper while Simmer and York have fun in the backseat being mischievous.

Simmer isn’t a host, wasn’t working on his old format. In the media Simmer bats cleanup, plays better with guys on base.

Simmer has developed a bit of a Rolling Stones quality to him. As long as he keeps going, we’ll keep going. Glad he’s back

Makes a difference having a third guy to add to the hockey talk and the familiarity amongst these guys is a good starting point to a succesful podcast. They have a tendency to go off the rails sometimes with pop culture chatter but not a big deal.
Like Tuna 99 stated, I'm glad he's back! Honest ,direct opinions on the team, whether you like it or not.

Very well said

Hmm. Just don’t let him hog all the oxygen to himself. He was hard to listen to on his sick podcast. Non stop blabbering. And I was one of his biggest 1200 fans.

nice to see them give opportunity to guys like Bobby and Simmer who have struggled outside of the professional environment

I liked Simmer due to him speaking his mind and bringing different perspectives.

How long before Simmer shuts down York? Simmer can only handle Dumb for so long before he puts somebody in their place.
