It must have hurt to shut Boucher down, but that is the only option. He has a long life ahead of him with or without hockey. All the best to him for the future.
Like Mathurin in NB and Foerster of Barrie the year before and Winterton twice. Boucher should have been shut down in October. Boucher may not really be ready to play again for 6+ months.

I think mews marelli and ewle will be given a chance against Oshawa in the first round. Then it will be their play that decides who gets how much ice

Yeah, that's how Cameron will probably play it. Though personally, I'd have it as Mews>Marrelli>Ewles>Horner. I think there is some separation between the three players, with Ewles being the weakest of the three but a bit more reliable than Horner. When Marrelli is playing well, he's a good #6 d-man despite his age, with lots of upside for the next couple of years. He has a thick body and moves fairly well, with the added benefit of playing with Mews as a pairing for almost the entire year.

We'll be in good shape in a few years with M&M anchoring our blue-line!

No Logan Morrison again tonight. At some point he needs to play to get his timing and conditioning right for the playoffs...

Still NO Morrison

What gets me is the Cone of Silence BS. If he’s hurt, then don’t announce he’s ready to go until he is.

Morrison could probably play tomorrow if he was needed. But he is not needed. This is a chance to look at some alternatives and to as i have said before rest players that you are going to :eek::eek::eek: on. once we have the league championship done look for a lot of others not to play.

9-3 Wow. I don't know what Coach Cameron told this team in the locker room in the first intermission but it surely woke them up.

Very strange game last night I don't think I ever saw a team win 10-3 and play so badly. Yes we had spurts of extreme dominance in the second but otherwise ...meh. If Mckenzie did not make a few stellar saves early in the second could have been a different outcome. We were unusually sloppy. First five minutes Missy seemed intent on giving us the puck in high scoring areas and it looked like a blowout but they dominated the next 25 min or so. Then we had that great spurt where everything went in and a so so third. Overall not a great effort.

I will tell you. He has been hurt
Any idea when he's back?

Morrison won’t be on this weekend’s road trip. My sense is he’s recovering from a minor LBI and resting up to make sure he’s 100% before the playoffs, but if we were in the playoffs right now he’d dress and play through it. Nothing to be concerned about based on what I’ve heard.

I’m more concerned about Barlas tbh. He was week to week on last night’s game sheet.

Agreed on last night’s game, but on a positive note the finishing was certainly there and 67s were driving to the dirty areas. Donoso needs to be a lot better though.

The first period was a complete crap show. Steelheads coach yanked his goalie 6 minutes and 2 goals in. Cameron waited for the intermission and did the same. Mackenzie played very well. The game settled down, but when Beck went bar down on a shot that recently has been flying over the net, Missy just collapsed. Ottawa got its skating game going and it was no contest after that. Officials were dreadful. Late wave offs of icings, penalties in the first were no problem in the second or third, both ways. The third period altercations were predictable.

Goal called back. Was it a kick shot? Because Foster's stick seemed to be on the puck.

Could be a tough one today. Hamilton is a good team that usually plays us well. Combined with the fact it's 3 in 2 1/2 and that we have not played very well this weekend. Also being short of bodies up front. Should be a close game. We need Beck/Rohrer to play way better than yesterday.
