One player that is impressing me a lot despite not showing up on the scoresheet is Will Gerrior. Really like his speed, intensity and he has shown good skill and hands. Just a matter of time before they start going him. And not afraid to throw a body check.
I agree about Gerrior does not look out of place at all. He looks like a regular and is not afraid of going in the dirty zones. As a side note the defence has to try and cut down on the 2 on 1s. Mackenzie seemed to have a problem with shots along the ice from near the goal line ( something to work on).

Yes Mckenzie let in a bad one and he lost his angle on the last goal when he came out to challenge. As you sais things to work on but I really like him. I think we have a future stud goalie on our hands.

It’s like Jack Beck the last season that they played. He played with Quinn and Hoelscher and always kept pace despite not putting up the stats. He’s showing us the goods so far this year as the team’s top scorer to date.

Does anybody know what's going on with Chris Barlas? On Kenny Walls' gamesheet, he isn't being listed
as injured or suspended? I'm excited to see him play.

Gerrior’s cross-check to the face of the Steelhead will for sure get reviewed by the OHL.

Apparently the player has six loose teeth, multiple stitches to the mouth, and severe bruising in his lower jaw and chin. That’s not a 2 min tripping call.

Sirizzotti and Gill-Shane not playing. Were they hurt last night? Barlas in for his first game.

Yeah everyone said that Barrie's problem was going to be in nets.
Glad to see that Cranley had a good game. He deserves it.
Are the stts lying or is Tonai the go-to guy for faceoffs.

A very big win, an important win for a young team. The no quit lagacy just got passed on. They overcame a 3-0 deficit and brutal calls! Mayich gets 2 for behing croochecked in the face and Matier gets 2 for ....? Kudos boys.

A few things got my eye. Up 4-3 with 1:30 to go. Who is taking the defensive zone face off? Barlas! Yes we got scored on but it tells me Cameron/Boyd are looking at the bigger picture...develop the kids! All the rooks are getting quality icetime. We could be much better as the year goes on and watch out next year. We could be dangerous this year ( not contender dangerous) with Belly back...good goaltending, good defense and we seem to be better at scoring up front than I expected. Stay tuned!
