Nice save by linus but I still think we have the edge on the trade so far .Thanks again for Ullmark.

And that should honestly be more of a Boston concern. 1 shot in 26 minutes is crazyHe only made one save in the last 26 minutes of the game

He almost popped 1 tonight hes been very impressive and so has korpi. No points from Kastelic.
Bruins' best players need to be their best players if they want to win
How is that possible? I was told he was going to struggle behind the much worse Sens defenseHe only made one save in the last 26 minutes of the game
Sens dominated this game with youth and speed. Swayman was fantastic or this was a blowout. Bruins did good locking him up long term. How is that possible? I was told he was going to struggle behind the much worse Sens defense

The way everyone was saying especially sens fans this was a lopsided trade for Ottawa was overblown.Kospisalo's sav% is .015 lower than Ullmarks was for Boton last year, and Kastelic has 2 points in his last 11 games.
I wouldn't consider anyone involved in this trade (including Ullmark) to have had an impressive beginning to their season.
It was more that Ottawa got to unload a goalie while acquiring a goalie they Valued. We had to trade for a goalie. We couldn't run it back with the current tandom. The question how Ottawa deal with 3 goalies going into the season was a reality, so not having to stress over that's an instant win.The way everyone was saying especially sens fans this was a lopsided trade for Ottawa was overblown.
For Ottawa, it was more that the team got a capable, #1 goalie. That save in OT tonight from Ullmark is something we havent had consistently in a long time with past goalies. The way everyone was saying especially sens fans this was a lopsided trade for Ottawa was overblown.
Maybe you should go outside for a while, you are obsessed with this thread. The way everyone was saying especially sens fans this was a lopsided trade for Ottawa was overblown.
Only 4 years, less risk involved, I think this is better than the Swayman deal, idk prolly jacked up the AAV to keep the years down.big mistake
Brady almost had as many shots as the BruinsAnd that should honestly be more of a Boston concern. 1 shot in 26 minutes is crazy
Sens fans know korpisalo and Kastelik a lot better than you guys do. You guys are just on a first date. We married them. The way everyone was saying especially sens fans this was a lopsided trade for Ottawa was overblown.
Sens need to stop losing. They needed to stop losing for a long time. We have heard from Sens fans for years that this roster should be much better. They can't wait out another 4 years. What's Brady going to be thinking about another 4 years of mediocrity when his contract is up and his prime has been wasted? They need that $8.25m working for them NOW.Only 4 years, less risk involved, I think this is better than the Swayman deal, idk prolly jacked up the AAV to keep the years down.
Korpi numbers are pretty equal to linus at the moment and he was part of the trade.Sens fans know korpisalo and Kastelik a lot better than you guys do. You guys are just on a first date. We married them.
We know exactly what you got. Even if you don't yet.
That's why we know we won this trade.
I hope kastelik does awesome for you guys. He's a good 4th liner.
But with the Ulmark signing I don't see any scenario where Kastelik tips the scales away from this being a homerun trade for the sens.

3 million backup sens paying 1 million of the salary entire term.Well I guess you’re right, this 13 game sample size has certainly settled that lol
listen man, I hope those guys work out for you - I don’t think they will but if they do then super! The reality is Korpisalo is hot garbage, he’s been hot garbage his entire career with the exception of a brief glimmer of light.
The absolute last thing ottawa needed was that dude on our roster for 4 more years. You guys have Swayman so not as big a deal I guess if you want a $4 million dollar back up.
For my part when I watch Ullmark in nets I feel nice and calm and relaxed, I havent felt that way since Anderson.
Liked Kastelic though, nice 4th line centre imo
At the moment is the key term there.Korpi numbers are pretty equal to linus at the moment and he was part of the trade.
"at the moment".Korpi numbers are pretty equal to linus at the moment and he was part of the trade.
Nice hyperboleMark Kastelic would go top 32 in a 2019 re-draft, so that adds another first to what the Senators gave up.
Not only that, but Korpisalo was traded for a 1st and a 3rd round pick as a rental. So you're really looking at the Senators giving up three first round picks to make a lateral move in net.
Honestly, can't believe I'd ever miss Dorion this much. Great deal for the Bruins.
