I don't think the Sens are done. They get a bit of cap space savings trading JBD and Norris and have a 2nd round pick to dangle now, too. Would love to see Donato or B. Tanev in the Sens now. Especially Tanev as we lost a good depth player/agitator in Nick Cousins a few weeks back to injury.

I actually like this a lot for both teams. I think Norris is the slightly better player, and if healthy is a nice lock-in at 2C. Cozens probably has a higher ceiling, and could be a nice piece as a top 6 RW since the Sens have their top 3 C's locked in.. but he's also more inconsistent

Norris should be a 35 goal scoring, 2 way center for the majority of his career (if healthy). The Sens have needed a culture trade for years, and it sucks it had to be Norris (Batherson I’m looking at you).

Today will be emotional for both fan bases, but Buffalo needs to realize that Norris is a good player and could be a great fit down the middle.

Yes, I was surprised the Sens squeezed out a 2nd rounder. I think Norris and Cozens is a wash, but the 2nd rounder is a nice pick-up for Staois.
