Brown's lack of effort directly led to the last goal I think.

Bad game by many players but Brown has been the biggest disappointment this season. Of course, there hasn't been a lot of disappointment so maybe it's just been magnified.
Uh no. McBain getting pwned by Ryan was the direct cause.
Montreal next. Gonna be a tough one.
It actually is. I thought he played fine till the Buffalo game, where he was MIA.He earned 13 mins of ice time and was on the ice for 4 goals against, two of which resulted from him turning the puck over to Ottawa. I guess that's impressive?
"First regulation loss in 10 games. Let's not try to burn down the front office."
Brown's not a disappointment if you had realistic expectations for the guy. He was never going to return, in 2012 form. That player is long gone, and never coming back. Plenty of people noticed that last season, and accepted it.

Tonight I thought Gaborik lost all board battles and didn't skate fluidly. Martinez was also less engaged. Both gassed...
Mcnabb and Forbort were awful and Quick had a night to forget (and should have been pulled after that 4th goal).
Shore and Mersch were a bit too harshly punished by Sutter...
