I might be biased since I am a Packers fan, but if I were the Rams I'd rather play Washington than the Pack. The Packers have 5 losses, to teams with a combined 41-7 record. And yeah, none of the dome/warm weather teams in the NFC want to play in Philly in January.

Philly destroyed the Rams on both sides of the line of scrimmage earlier this year. By far the worst matchup for LA.

If i recall correctly, I think the Rams had the lead for a good portion of the 1st half in that game. The Eagles got a later TD at the end of the 2nd quarter to take the lead. Then they trounced the Rams in the 2nd half.

To be honest though, watching that game, even in the first half when it was close and/or the Rams had the lead -- the Eagles were clearly the better team.

I don't envision a scenario where the Rams can beat the Eagles next weekend. But even so, it's been a great season for the Rams and a big step forward for this young team....especially the defense. They have some decent cap space to spend this offseason and can create more with moves. The right FA acquisitions and a good draft could turn this into a very serious SB contender next season.
