sooo.....do NHL teams have scouting reports of each other for the playoffs? 😆

"They were thrilled at how short Yankee leads were at first base to potentially be less of a threat on pivots at second, where Gavin Lux does not excel. They said their metrics had the Yankees as the worst positioned outfield. They were amazed how many times relay throws came skittering through the infield with no one taking charge and how often Jazz Chisholm Jr., for example, was out of place or just standing still when a play was in action. "

This is some next level scouting. Not sure the NHL is this good.

I expected Lux to be the next great Doyer. I think they are gonna move on from him
Not sure he's ever recovered from his knee injury. Have to give him credit for drawing a walk in the 10th before Freddie's slam and the sac fly in Game 5.

Gotta say, watching die hard Yankee fans livestreams' of game 5 and the 5th inning meltdown has been highly entertaining. This link is timestamped, click it to get instant satisfaction

My USC trojans are rapidly returning into the hot steaming pile they were with the head coach throwing the qb under the bus (miller moss enters the portal) and the university president being nudged into retirement.

USC getting fined for 50K and put on probation for a year because they had basically 6 analysts engaging in coaching activities on and off the field. lmao Riley can't go soon enough.

Riley needs to go for sure, but that is more because he is a lousy coach. But the NCAA is insane organization, I can't believe in 2024 it's still a thing, with college football just pro athletes representing the schools.

Oregon uses back channels to try and poach All-American players when they are still on other teams rosters (getting ready for playoff games, no less), and nothing happens, but analysts participating in practices is just too much.

It's still inevitable it goes the way of the Dodo bird, but I thought it would have happened by now.

Don't say anything at all
If the Chargers decide to build a stadium in Anaheim somewhere down the line it would allow them and the Rams to play home games on the same day.

Under NFL rules, if the Chargers and Rams are playing at the same time, both games have to be shown in LA, which would be one of the exceptions to a rule that in most cases bars another game from going up against the local team's game.

Chargers should have never left San Diego.

I think we're going to see one of these dynasty types runs for the Dodgers starting with this recent 2024 WS title. Like 3 titles in four years (or 4 in 6). If people outside LA hate the Dodgers now, it's going to much louder the next few seasons.
It's possible but they're like one of the oldest teams in the league. Having their rotation stay healthy is going to be a key. One starting pitcher under 30 and the others all with a fairly decent injury history is asking a lot over the next few years.
