Ehhh, I don't know guys, I'd be pretty concerned with the Lincoln Riley hire with where the team is in year 3. USC was blessed with one of the easier B10 schedules of anyone in the conference, and they are 1-2, with two losses to heavily flawed teams and now the best team they will face this season coming to the Coliseum (as 6 point favorites). I was at the game in Ann Arbor and that was one of the single worst offensive line performances I've ever seen from a Big Ten team. Josiah Stewart is a decent edge player, but he looked like Lawrence Taylor circa 1987 vs. USC, and again we aren't talking Joey Bosa or Aidan Hutchinson here.

Riley left Oklahoma because I think he was worried about competing in the SEC (and the Brinks truck SC gave him), but now he's in another super conference, and I just don't know if the culture he pushes is going to work outside of the Big 12. It wouldn't shock me if he's fired after this season.

Damn. The Dodgers love finding themselves in this place against San Diego. It just works its way out to that every time. It just sucks that they are so injury-riddled.

I tried not to get my hopes up because they were decimated with injuries

A gutsy game 1 made it look a little different this year

game 2 was right back to the same ol soft collapsing dodgers

game 3 was just an all around failure. What can you do when your elite d guys just shit the bed? that's a new wrinkle at least, the usual 'bats go quiet' thing is expected at this point. Lotta 0-fers.

Back to back errors on a double play ball and got 0 outs of it is unprecedented. Of course it happens to the Dodgers.

Yup pretty much game right there. Scored all their runs in that inning when it should have been 3 outs. What was Rojas doing not throwing to Lux but tried to beat the runner to the bag. Brutal.

He tried to be a hero instead of a calm approach to the play. It happens. Pretty sure this is his first time in the playoffs.

A brain fart from a player who usually plays heads up baseball.

20-20 hindsight after going to his knees Freddie should have taken the out at first.

At this point, I find losing to this version of the Pads (Manny, Profar and Tatis) as distasteful as losing to the Giants.

I hate a lot of Padres but I love Darvish. And he's an absolute unit.

But yeah, 8 pitcher shutout, exactly what we all thought right
