Tebow was never gonna be a QB, but Lock and Lynch definitely has the physical skills to be good QBs in the NFL. That's where development comes into play. Most of the time these guy need more of a life coach than a OC that teaches them a playbook. The Broncos are just hoping to find a young man that's already mature and has his life together. I don't think we'll be that lucky.
You cannot possibly blame the Broncos for not being able to develop Lynch

I'm blaming them for not developing anyone since Elway. It's been a revoling carousel of newbie coaches and staff. I think they need to stop looking for the next great coach and hire someone who has experience and knows what they did wrong in the past. Everything about the broncos is just trying to catch the new hotness, when what worked for us was Re-highering Kubs and trading for Manning. And while Russ is kinda like Manning, Hackett is no Gary Kubiak. Also, no one has ever read a defense as good as Manning. Russ needs his legs to ball. Manning just needed his mind. Even his last season where his arm looked dead, he was still making plays by predicting the opposing Defense.

That's a terrible argument. They were all first or second round picks. It's not like they threw darts on guys in the 6th round.
Yeah go ahead and look up every qb drafted in the first two rounds. It is literally throwing darts.

I'm not going to blame the Vikings for not being able to develop Christian Ponder. The kid never had it

Like sethro mentioned they haven't developed a legit QB in decades. Call it bad development or bad drafting it's still a glaring organizational inability.

Absolutely fair. The best qb we've drafted post Elway is Cutler and I know he doesn't have the best reputation but I loved the guy. McDaniels just dismantling what was a great offense still pisses me off

Absolutely, but part of me thinks it just really comes down to luck. I don't think Brady was developed. Brady was (Thanos voice) inevitable. The good players develop themselves

edit: I despise the comment merge bullshit
