They got loads of talent on offense. They suck on d but I thought Staley was a D coach. He somehow managed to sabotage both units. Will be interesting who they hire - they were definitely in the game for Payton so they might go big.

Loads of talent that just drop the ball constantly. Wasn't Moore supposed to make Herbert better?

I don't know if Spanos will pay the big money and give up draft capital to get a Bellicheck or someone like him. He's relatively poor by NFL standards and is always fighting with his family for what money they do have. The Broncos and Chiefs get the advantage of being rich owners with tons of resources compared to Spanos and Davis.

Jokic will pass Byron Beck for 4th in total minutes played for the Denver Nuggets (and Rockets) NBA/ABA franchise if he plays 23 minutes tomorrow night.

Needs 40 rebounds to pass Dan Issel for 1st. 9 more 3 pointers to catch Michael Adams for 4th.

Should have some more milestones late in the season including catching Melo on the points list, Issel on the steals list, and Schayes on the blocks list.

Just did some quick math - Jokers career ppg is 20. He basically needs 5 1/2 more seasons at 20ppg to pass English on the all time ppg. I never realized just how far English was beyond all the rest.

English had a nice game and such a smooth shot, but he did benefit from being around lousy teammates in many of those seasons. Imagine the PPG of Jokic if he didn't have Jamal around or if he didn't trust his teammates now to hit those open shots he creates for them?

Jokic spent his first 1.5 seasons as a rotation bench piece. His last three seasons he's averaged over 25 PPG.

Is Payton watching this offense running over his team? They run so many concepts over the middle of the field, not that difficult to do. And the first TD running the wheel route opening up space for the TE is pretty easy to implement. Just more evidence to me that Payton isn't all that as a coach.

I'm not saying he's a bad coach, just overrated. This offense has to be better, the patterns are just stupid. Watch the replay of games on the full 22 view and you see if really quickly. The patterns he runs are way too difficult and deep to be successful with Wilson.

No worries, they can win the next 3 and still have a shot at the playoffs. And if they don't make it so what, this team isn't ready to make a playoff run.
