And this was without any of our RBs ever having a 100 yard game or a #1 TE.
Seriously? He was 16th in receiving yards, in a 32 team league. One could argue that they don't have a true #1 WR either. No offense to Sutton, but he's a low end 1, probably a high 2.
If we can find a way to add someone like Garrett Wilson via trade and draft either Loveland or Warren in the 1st round, and a guy like Skattebo in the 2nd, things could get interesting fast.
From this point on, it's all gravy for me. Making the playoffs with a rookie QB is a huge accomplishment. We got the early Sunday timeslot. Would love an upset but even just making a game of it would be massive. Hope whoever wins this one knocks out the Chiefs
Here is the thing with Sutton, not sure he puts up the same numbers on a different team with a better WR core. The Broncos are exceedingly thin at WR and Sutton was the only remotely reliable one until Mims started playing well the last 4 games or so. Once Mims started playing better the last 4 Sutton's numbers declined slightly as Nix had another option.Seriously? He was 16th in receiving yards, in a 32 team league.
I've seen Skatman projected as a 3rd, which OH HELL YEAH! One of the TEs and Skat in the 3rd and usr the 2nd on a safety or some OLine help.
Two third round picks as compensation if does get hiredHope VJ has the good sense not to go work for the guy who once blocked his GM from acquiring a player because his Madden rating wasn't high enough.
Worth it?Two third round picks as compensation if does get hired
I personally think VJ is overrated around here so I would say soWorth it?
Would much prefer to go after Tee Higgins. Don’t think Tyreek is worth his contract at this stageSeeing the news about Tyreek Hill wanting out. Is there any way the Broncos could make that work? Him and Court would be a ridiculous duo
Yeah exactly although to be fair he was open on a lot of those go routes earlier in the year and the ball didn't head his way. I think Payton likes his guys to be a little different, serve different purposes. While they certainly should draft more WR depth I don't know if he's ever believed he needed a top 10 pick, freakish talent type. All those guys he had in NO developed in their own way. Even Reggie Bush needed to find a role. It's crazy how much better the offense has looked since they've been involving Mims. They finally have a guy that can break open big plays and they aren't just sending him on go routes all game.
Oh **** no! Keep that child abusing piece of shit off this team!Seeing the news about Tyreek Hill wanting out. Is there any way the Broncos could make that work? Him and Court would be a ridiculous duo
I’d stay away from skattebo, reminds me of Ron Dayne and all those milesOne could argue that they don't have a true #1 WR either. No offense to Sutton, but he's a low end 1, probably a high 2.

Still follows Elway around 40 years later. So far as getting blamed for the Colts leaving Baltimore.Out of curiosity... do NFL players wanting out of their team carry the same negative connotations as an NHL player wanting out?
That’s what you call not wanting to tip your hand. Great game from Denver don’t read a whole lot from that gameBut in the first two quarters he rushed quite a lot through the oline. Maybe the KC eventually stuffed the middle.
