It's not like there isn't already a law against inciting violence. If he was actually serious about this, they would just use the existing laws and press charges.
Creating new laws that do the exact same thing as an existing law but just narrowing down to one specific incident is sheer stupidity and should not only get this guy kicked out of government, but he should be required to take a a remidial course in government and take a naturalization test before being allowed to run for office again.
He has no intention of actually putting forth legislation or fighting for it. This is just a worse form of gamesmanship than was displayed by Michegan for planting the flag in the first place.
