Why do so many care about this? Good game Jerry, hope you do well. Same for Russ, glad he found a good spot. I didn't get the point of the back and forth between some fans and Jerry, utterly stupid in a team sport to make it about a guy.

That Nuggets floor is… something

Edit: oh it’s the nba cup (yay?). I thought they were just trolling golden state lol

Thankfully this is the last time the pissboards will splatter into your retinas. Nuggets are officially out of the Loser Cup. I'm so disappointed.

Mike Shanahan got absolutely jobbed by the NFL HOF with Mike Holmgren getting the coach vote over him this year. Total BS

Shanny’s record is better than Holmgren, he has more Super Bowl wins and coaching tree is just as good.

And head to head coached circles around Holmgren in their Super Bowl.

If any of y'all are casual boxing fans, lapsed boxing fans, or a boxing fan sickened at the recent Jake Paul sideshow there's an absurdly great card that just got announced for February.

TBRB is the most authoritative independent ranking body, so I'll use them to illustrate just how great of a card this is. It also shows how many stupid made up belts are in the sport, but the rankings are the main thing.
#2 Daniel Dubois (c) vs #3 Joseph Parker for the IBF heavyweight world title
#4 Zhilei Zhang vs #5 Agit Kabayel for the vacant interim WBC world heavyweight title
#2 Joshua Buatsi (c) vs #8 Callum Smith for the interim WBO world light heavyweight title
#4 Vergil Ortiz Jr. (c) vs #5 Israil Madrimov for the interim WBC world super welterweight title
#2 Carlos Adames (c) vs #4 Hamzah Sheeraz for the WBC middleweight world title
#3 Shakur Stevenson (c) vs unranked Floyd Schofield for the WBC lightweight world title
C. Artur Beterbiev vs #1 Dmitry Bivol, rematch for the undisputed WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO/IBO/Ring/TBRB and lineal light heavyweight world championship

Each of these divisions has well over 1,000 active fighters promoted by different promoters in different countries and tied to different networks so to get this many top 5 and top 10 matchups on one card is ridiculously rare. Even UFC couldn't put together a card like this and they basically have 90% of the top 30 fighters in each weight class signed to exclusive deals.

Bo Nix would beat the crap out of every single one of those dudes!

This is pretty shocking but oh well. Anything left up to media voters can lead to dumb winners

My favorite offseason tradition, where Dick Monfort replies to fan e-mails via his iPad(he changed this time)

And Porter.

Absolutely pathetic. Our entire franchise right now is Jokic, Gordon, Braun, and Watson. Everyone else is dead weight at best, or paddling against the team at worst.
I'll give Russ credit, dude is putting in the effort despite Father Time severely hampering his game.

But yes, apart from those guys you mentioned, this team has nothing going for it.

Effort is great but his decision making is wildly inconsistent and he's shooting under 39% from the field and 67% from the FT line. Even Reggie is shooting better over in Philly.

If MPJ becomes a scapegoat for Murray being absolute shit, I'll lose it.

If MPJ becomes a scapegoat for Murray being absolute shit, I'll lose it.
MPJ's raw numbers are up this year but he has made an awful habit of going missing in action for huge chunks of time in pretty much every game and the progress he made on the defensive side of the ball last year has regressed drastically, to the point where he is making Strawther-tier decisions all game long.

Murray is a much larger problem but MPJ is not blameless here. He's walking away from AG just like Jamal is in that video. He's a veteran player now, it's time to stop letting him off the hook for acting like a child or for not knowing the absolute basics of basketball. Nobody is asking him to be a Braun or Gordon tier defender but it is not too much to ask that he understands by this point in his career the basic rotations, when to go over or under a screen, when to hedge, when to double, when to switch. He simply doesn't demonstrate those things consistently and there's no excuse for it. It's one thing to get beat, it's another thing to not even know what you're supposed to be doing out there.

When we got rid of guys like KCP, Reggie Jackson, and Justin Holiday it became incumbent on guys like Porter and Murray to replace their maturity and stability and neither of them have. Whether they're playing well or not shouldn't impact their level of effort or engagement. Half of our roster (Braun, Watson, Strawther, Tyson, Pickett, Jones, Alexander, Holmes, Hall) has three years or less in this league. MPJ is supposed to be one of the adults in the room by now.

Mammoth 2-0.

Third straight Friday night game next week, this time in San Diego against the Seals.

Thankfully we're playing the Wizards who are missing just as many dudes as we are, because
Gordon - out (calf)
Murray - out (hamstring)
Saric - out (ankle)
Jones - out (G-League)
Cancar - out (knee)
Holmes - out (achilles)
Braun - IN (quadriceps bruise)

So the squad should be
PG: Westbrook, Alexander, Pickett
SG: Braun, Strawther
SF: Watson, Tyson
PF: Porter, Nnaji
C: Jokic, Jordan, Hall

Yikes.

Justin Holiday is apparently in Denver working out with AG at his home. Hopefully a roster move to add him is imminent because we need him badly.

For anyone who had been curious why anyone was mad at MPJ, just watch the first quarter of this Wizards game. This man is dumber than paint.

Jokic with 56 too.

But how tf does the math work out? Nuggets +1 in FGs and Wizards +11 in 3 pointers, same FTs, Nuggets lose by 9. Am I dumb? What I am I missing?
