Lutz has been great. The decision to kick there is dumbYeah, shake your damn head, Sean. You're the one who insisted on Lutz.
That was supposed to be a slam dunk signing too. So much wasted money. It sure does seem like McGlinchey’s job is gonna possibly be given to this kid replacing him. The line is actually looking cohesive.
Yeah and I just checked the cap stuff - unfortunately his deal sucks too for getting rid of. They’re basically locked into him for at least the next year and a half. That was supposed to be a slam dunk signing too. So much wasted money.
Wow, other than Rodgers covering his face in disgust I took no pleasure whatsoever from that win. What a f***ing disaster the Broncos are.
To an extent I’d agree. There are coaches who have gone through multiple QBs and stayed at a high level. Payton simply hasn’t shown that yet.
To me… .500 wouldn’t be the bar for success.Belichick's record without Brady is 82-98. Sean Payton is above .500 without Bree's. I'd say his last year in NOLA and the first two in Denver have went better than expected in terms of W's/L's. He still has lots to prove in terms of taking the next step without Bree's but I think he's shown he can prevent a team from falling apart.
His decision making and playcalling have been annoying at times. Lots of season left but if the Broncos somehow rattle off 7-8 wins this year they'll be further ahead than people thought.
To me… .500 wouldn’t be the bar for success.
Sounds like video game thinking. Most QBs are around average. Even guys that look very talented can end up with average or worse results. As much as we can act like the NFL is a QB and 21 other dudes, it's not really how it works. Guys like Payton and the richest owners in the league aren't going to accept a team that just dicks around until they find a star QB.That match was like watching two clowns battle each other in a marathon sprint with those huge clown shoes.
Not that I know anything about the no fun league, but the worst thing you lot want is Nix to be average. Not good enough to get anywhere, but not bad enough to cut ties with considering the Bronies drafted him at 12th overall and invested in that. You either want him to be an all-star or be so bad that the two parties can move on and Denver can reinvest in another QB with a high pick.
