i totally believe sharapova has had cardiac problems for 10 years and this was an honest mistake...

I'm not a huge Sharapova fan, but I have to kind side with her on this one. She has supposedly been taking that specific drug for a long time (it should be fairly easy to determine if she is lying about it, and if she is then my whole stance changes), and it hasn't been on the banned list for tennis until this year.

She screwed up by taking something on the banned list and owned up to it. Hopefully she'll get a chance to redeem herself at some point down the line. She should get punished and serve her time.

I heard they are pretty high on Siemian though....

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm not a huge fan of Brock at 17M, but I think that's what it will take to get it done.

I think they are much better off going with Siemian and a high draft pick at that price. I'm 100% not sold on RG III. Running QB with two ACL injuries to the same leg. Attitude that blows. At least for Osweiler there's a large majority out there that thought he "sucked" two years ago and he at least has shown major improvement and the willingness to work and get better. RGIII in the same scenario has pouted and been nothing but a complete ****** the last two years. I seriously worry that a rookie QB beats him out and he becomes a $13 million cancer in the locker room.

I'd much rather pay Fitzpatrick at $18M than RG3 at 13 or Brock at 17

Exactly, which is why I say any veteran starter they bring in that's not Brock (or RG3/Kaep) is just a placeholder for 1-2 years. I doubt Elway hands the reins of a contending team to a 2nd year, 3rd stringer even with this defense. The biggest upside to going with Siemian is more cash to potentially keep Malik/Travathan.

Under reported story is the super low tender they gave CJ. I have a strange feeling we could be seeing him depart and a guy like Forte come in to start.

If we had to pick between RG3 and Kaep, I'd take Kaep.

If I had to choose between RG3 and Kaepernick, I'd cry myself to sleep every night.

Yeah...not a great situation to find oneself in.

That being said, I'd choose RG3 because I feel he has better football talent (compared to Kaepernick), and I'd hope that he takes to actually being coached. I really feel that he got humbled in Washington, and the team who picks him up needs to be firm with him, and there's a chance (not big, but not small) that it could pay some sort of positive dividends.

We're not paying Brock 17M per. Our budget won't allow for it. We've got other players that need to get paid as well. If Brock won't slot in around 13-15M per he isn't going to play here. We'll let some other team stupidly overpay him.

Siemian isn't going to be the starter next season, and honestly it's probably a long shot that he ever gets the starting nod.

If Brock goes, we will be spending a 1st or 2nd round pick on a QB in the draft. They will also go out and get a player like RG3. Of all the options available I see him be the most likely person, just because of his previous success in a Mike Shanahan type offense.

Kaepernick will be a 49er at least through this season, plus you don't want him here. He basically a slightly more athletic Tim Tebow, his stats have just been getting worse every year.

Fitzpatrick is a long shot option. I don't see Elway going for an aging vet, who has shown over the years to blow lots of key games.

Other than that, the options are pretty slim. You could try to manufacture a trade, but I'm not sure who'd be available.

If I was a betting man, I'd put money on RG3 if it's not Brock. RG3 would bring the most value on a short term contract. He's young and has talent but he's high risk but also high reward if he does recapture what he started his rookie season.

Fitzpatrick sucks, i hope we stay away from this guy. I would rather go for RGIII or Kaepernick.

Fitzpatrick seems like a guy that can be a game manager, but he is not, he always throw a bad INT at the worst possible time.

Schefter said on SportsCenter he expects Brock Osweiler's decision to come down to #Broncos & #Texans. "A battle between those two teams."

If Osweiler won't sign who would be a potential starter theyd target out of the draft?

I remember hearing about a QB from Old Miss.

Doug Martin would fit really well in the Kubiak offense.

I'm just wondering how the Broncos are going to fit people in...don't they have something like 8M in cap space?

Surprised we also didn't even mention the Eagles doing what they can to shed some bad contracts in Byron Maxwell and DeMarco Murray. Murray's I guess can be "okay but slightly overpaid" if he can find a way back to his 2014 form in Tennessee, but damn...Maxwell's was really bad for the level of play he brought last year.
