ROY, All Rookie 1st Team, Youngest MVP ever, All NBA 1st team, 3 Time All Star. He did more in 8 years than most do in their entire careers in a Bulls uniform. I got 0 issue with it.
Seems like it would be similar to the Pacers retiring Paul George's number.
If he wasn’t from Englewood they wouldn’t be doing it.Or like if the Cubs were to retire Kris Bryant's number, but at least he helped bring the city a title after 100+ years.
I want to say I stopped following basketball around when the Rose era was beginning, so I don't know, maybe he has more of a "brand" with Chicago than I realize.
Sure seems odd to retire his number to me, though.
Yeah. This is happening mostly because he is from Chicago. If he wasn’t from Englewood they wouldn’t be doing it.
Right back at you. Countless times ESPN took joy in watching Bama lose or the SEC look bad.
As long as the world keeps spinning.
"College" football is dying anyways.
Any idea what the actual ratings say for 2024 viewership vs say 2023? I did a quick google but couldn't find anything, but admittedly didn't look at that hard either.
