^ Once in the baseball forum I posted that PEDs don't help you throw harder. Murray Bannerman replied I was crazy. After he read my reply he admitted I was right.

The Bulls are gonna trade LaVine.

Not that there was any doubt but

It's a shame to see Oakland fans lose another team (2nd team lost to same city)

3 franchises gone in recent years. At least Warriors are still close

A's ownership poisoned the local well for years and they're getting rewarded with a brand new stadium in Las Vegas.

Also, never forget that the Giants deserve the lion's share of the blame here, too. Back when the A's were the big dog in the Bay Area and the Giants were having issues, the A's voluntarily let the Giants extend their market rights down to San Jose in order for them to better their financial standing and allow them a better negotiating footing with San Francisco for their new stadium. But when the A's looked for that favor to be returned when a move to San Jose looked like an option, the Giants flat out refused and left the A's high and dry.

No good deed goes unpunished, and soon the Giants will have all of Northern California to themselves.

So Sox land

- Once promising young SP whose career was derailed by injury (Soroka)
- A young SP who struggled in his first prolonged ML experience last season (Shuster)
- A SP prospect from Libertyville who is longshot prospect (Gowens)
- A SS prospect who is good defensively but lousy hitter (Shewmake)
- A bench utility IF who has several years of ML experience (Lopez)

Pretty happy with this

Bummer is bum and I am glad never having to watch him again

For some reason became overrated/hyped by media despite him constantly shitting the bed in big moments

The cab driver I was talking to a month or so ago when I was in Vegas was saying how the Knights are a huge success because they're a brand new team, unique to Las Vegas. The Raiders, no one gives a shit about because they're just some relocation team with their own history and fans already.

Probably a nothing opinion but I don't see how this'll be any different for the A's. Especially if they're going to continue to be a low budget team that's rarely good and almost never a threat to win a championship.

Its not going to be any different. The owner is a f***ing clown.

Vegas tax payers will foot the bill for a baseball stadium and Oakland won't. Thats it. It will still be empty.

I don’t buy that a new toy is needed to be liked. The reasons why the Knights have been better received than the Raiders have been because a) they were the first, b) they served as a rallying point for recovery from a horrible tragedy, c) were immediately great, and d) don’t a have train wreck ownership situation. None of those have been the case for the Raiders.

And who knows when MLB is going to expand next? A’s owners are chumps and I feel awful for Oakland fans, but the A’s are far and away the best shot for Vegas to have a team for the foreseeable future. The Philadelphia Kansas City Oakland Las Vegas Athletics are just the nomads.

Not going to lie, someone in the Huskies fan section waving a Big Ten flag at Oregon State’s stadium as it became clear that Washington was going to win was one of the most cold-blooded fan moves I’ve ever seen on TV.
