Oh look Eloy back on the IL for another 4-6 weeks.

This guy is a disgrace. What a bust.

Just like literally everyone else on this team that never reached their expectations.

You realize that he had an appendectomy, right? That means he had an infection in his appendix, and had to have it removed since you know... it can kill you... Calling a guy a disgrace because of a medical emergency might be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard you say. You have some serious mental issues and you may wanna get some help.

Not sure how to feel about the Cubs right now. On one hand, I’d say they have exceeded my expectations so far this year. On the other hand, they should have a much better record, honestly. It feels like they wasted a great opportunity to start the year here.

I am so glad the cubs is helping the cards get health. That is so sweet of them.

If not for the Hawks winning the lottery, I would be madder at the cubs.

Cubs are beyond brutal right now. Losing so many winnable games. It’s not like they’re out there getting beat down every night. They’re losing close games, many of them late in the game.

They have really blown a great opportunity to start the season strong here. The schedule only gets worse, as I fear the results will.

Ross is not a good manager

The cubs were destined to be a 500 team this year and that would be a great year.

They found an ace pitcher, they have help coming from the minors, they're in great shape moving forward.

There's alot to like about the Cubs. This wasn't the year they break out.

Doc Rivers again shown to be most overrated coach in NBA history

The "Process" in Philly is officially a laughingstock.

Embid a no show again in big moment, seemed happy to be gifted his undeserved MVP and sets off for offseason.

Harden abysmal in big game

Also

Could you imagine MJ coming out after blowing series/game and blaming everyone but him and Scottie

And Embid/Harden were atrocious

Embiid and Harden are easily the two most hateable guys in the NBA. Irving is in that class and so is Morant.

The Cubs run differential was one of a team that should be like 10 games above .500. They were just determined to make sure the differential matched their actual record. In a way, you have to respect it.
Was with a friend on Thursday that's a huge Cubs pessimist and I tried explaining to him that they were actually underachieving based on RD.

Now I feel like an asshole.

Lmao, I mean you definitely weren't wrong at the time, though. The Cubs should have started the season better than they did. My fear, and what has occurred, is that they were playing a bit above their level, but not capitalizing on it enough. We're seeing the impact of that now.

I feel like this team is exactly where it should be.

Yes and no. The team's record and performance as of late is what was expected. However, they could have started off the season much better than they did. They had an opportunity to be well above .500. They were always likely to come back to reality a bit, but at least they would have started with a nice cushion. Unfortunately, they didn't take advantage of that, and now we're seeing the downfall of that.
