Considering the Cubs were after Carlos last year and likely will be even more aggressive this year, if Correa ends up in Chicago, it's more likely to be with the Cubs than Sox.

Besides Reinsdorf already had to pay Zach Lavine, leaving no money for the White Sox.

I have no idea what saban/obrien were thinking there. 1st down from the 33 and they throw 3 straight times and then have to try a 50yarder with like 20seconds left. Why would you not run the ball at least once? Really mind boggling stuff. Not to mention the 20ish penalties for 130yards :laugh::laugh:

Anybody who says Bama/Saban has referees in their back pocket, I am going to remind you of this travesty of a game. I don't like people who uses the referees as a crutch for their team loss but ANYBODY who watched this game would understand why Bama fans are supernova and salty about this game.

I can accept losses, I can even accept losses to UTe, as rare as they are, but I cannot accept games being stolen because the referees cannot do their jobs. This game was won by the refs, even though Tennessee will get credit for the W.

Bama shot themselves in their foot plenty of times in this game but it does not change the fact that 2 TDs and an INT were erased by bogus penalties.

f*** Tennessee. f*** the refs.

Yes, I am salty.

Watching the Utah -USC foitball game tonight on Fox

.The pkay be play giy isxJsson Bennettii working with colour analyst John Huard as tge broadcast team...They are heated!

Bennettsi s fantastic calling foitball...I wonder if the Fox NFL brass will be wanting to sign them up to call NFL games once Bennetts gets free of his White Sox contract as their game caller...

In any case tgey are terrific. Football so.much faster than baseball and more action...so this suits Bennetts even better than baseball.

Two fanbases that can never complain about refs--Bama fans and New England Patriots fans.

Interesting seeing the Padres and Phillies in the NLCS. If we go back a few years, there were basically 3 teams chasing Machado and Harper. The Phillies, Padres and White Sox. We all know how that ended. Reinsdorf is too cheap to give out a 9 digit free agent deal, and the other teams won their services. Now they are both 1 step from the World Series, and the Sox rebuild is in shambles (for the moment at least).

So Bama gets screwed by refs and Bama are not allowed to complain about them? That is not how this works. So screw "Bama fans can't complain about the refs" nonsense. If you watched the game, you'd understand why Bama fans are furious.

Greg Shankey, those refs are an embarrassement to bad refs everywhere.

I'm saying two fanbases no one wants to hear complain, and won't be eager to rally with empathy, are Bama fans and Patriots fans. Sucks when things don't go your way, but I'm sure their recent success is paved with tears from fans of other teams who thought they were screwed out of a win against Bama.
 
If uofi wins out (really not that crazy) and somehow beats osu/michigan in the b1g cg, theyd be in the CFP. Imagine that
