How is it lost we’re like 6 games back and there’s 1/2 the season remaining, including the TDL. You’re pissing away a year by not going for it and quitting on the season.

I personally don’t think we’re gonna rebound and win anything. I understand the skepticism. But you gotta at least try. There’s at least a chance however small it might seem now.
7 games with Minnesota and 8 with Cleveland in July. Those will decide if they're in position to buy or not.

Going for it how, with what? The Sox farm system at the start of June was ranked 27th in baseball I believe. It's not like they have a pile of hot prospects to go out and get anyone that will make an actual difference.

Nor have the Sox shown over the years any kind of sense or inclination to go after the upgrades they need.

This season is a dumpster fire, especially with no signs that the ancient drunk in charge is going to be replaced. Taking out their sweep of hapless Detroit the Sox have won 7 of their last 21, including series losses to Texas and Baltimore at home. Barely avoiding an embarrassing 4-game sweep to Baltimore to add.

Even if they do somehow crawl back into the race really does anyone think this team has the desire, talent or fortitude to beat anyone good in the playoffs? They're not even .500 against their own mediocre division.

BTW I still think the Sox have talent, but they're not talented enough to win a playoff series even if things are going well. This has been a Murphy's Law season. Just take your lumps and bring it back in 2023. Not much else they can do.

I don't follow the NBA very much at all but is Mo Bamba really worth much?

If it weren't for the song, I'd have no idea who he is.

He’s a solid option

Probably not worth what he's asking. Mo Bamba wants to sign with any team that will give him what he wants. I doubt management is going to be skimpy with a couple of mil, IF Bamba is really worth it. They're getting ready to re-sign Zach to a $200 mil + deal, because he is worth it.

With free agency opening in less than 4 hours, a lot of different options will present themselves.

How is it possible for Chicago to consistently have some of the worst owners in sports? It's uncanny really.
Well, 2 of them are owned by the same guy and another 2 have been in the same families for decades.

It's all gotten to be so dumb.

Just create the college football super league and be done with it, no need to have conferences anymore.
It won't be long before there are no conferences anymore and we're all back to being independents basically.

It's comical at this point. I hope future USC and UCLA athletes are going to be ready for some f*ing long road trips.

C'mon Jerry, leave Michael alone and let him run the team. I know it's your money but you can't take it with you.

Pretty sure this is someone taking the long running joke by Jerry as literal

Jerry has used same stale joke about Buehrle and concession stand $ for like 15 years

Also Mo Bamba is not worth a big contract at this point. His upside is still ? and there may not be much better to his game then what he is now at this point

The largest contract the Bulls can offer is the full MLE at $10.5M. Bamba still has a lot of upside and is totally worth the risk at that price.

This USC/UCLA to Big Ten is stupid from logistics/logic standpoint

It's a pure money grab by everyone involved so I guess in that sense it makes sense

Still going to be absolutely odd to see USC and UCLA in conference
