Since when does any sport's play back to back?
In covid? All of them. But I was talking about the battle of the least injured. That is the playoffs in every sport. There’s a reason it’s unheard of that the Kings played the same 6 D for the entire playoffs in 2012. Dudes get injured.

The real problem for the Dodgers is that their ace gets laughed at by the San Jose Sharks for being a choker.

Clayton Kershaw holds the MLB all time worst ERA for a pitcher with 100 or more innings pitched in the post season. He's not just bad, but historically bad.

Kershaw career regular season ERA: 2.43
Kershaw career postseason ERA: 4.31

Even more telling is that his ERA gets worse deeper into the playoffs.

NLDS: 4.02
NLCS: 4.84
WS: 5.40

Nothing left to say really. Love Kershaw, always will, but he doesn’t perform when we need him the most.

He also gets worse depending on how the Dodgers are doing. If they have the lead in the series, he actually is closer to his regular season numbers, but if they're behind in the series, the prince becomes a pauper.

Dude. Bryse Wilson f***ing sucks. The game never should have been 1-1 in the 6th in the first place because the Dodgers supposedly league-best offense should have torched Wilson.
That's sports though. Kershaw performed exactly as expected, poorly when behind in a series. Wilson is basically a wildcard and it paid off for the Braves because he only needed to have one big game. Maybe May will have the game of his life tonight.

Okay Dodgers, another 7 to 14 runs in the top of the ninth. No lead is safe with Kenley, don't let your foot off the gas.
