Just checked the scoreboard. Holy smokes. That's all in the 1st? A lot of people will question where was all of this, yesterday.

by which metric has the Braves pitching staff been better than the Dodgers in 2020? because most of them have the Dodgers at #1 by a lot.

Braves were 11th in ERA and middle of the pack at best in a bevy of areas. They're melting down today because after their 1 and 2 starters, their rotation is weak, and the Dodgers were ready to pounce.

Can't believe the Dodgers made that field goal, but missed two extra points.

I had the Dodgers and gave the points, so it cost me since the spread was Dodgers -13.
 
Welp. I guess if you allow yourself to be put in a 0-2 position, then you couldn't have responded any better... Here's hoping the Dodgers continue that magic for the rest of the series.
 
Next game is as must-win as it gets especially if Kershaw actually gets the start.

Big numbers are nice but it's still a 2-1 series and the Braves said it best, that might have been the best way to lose a game. Dodgers did next to nothing after the first couple of innings, They should have really run roughshod working the Braves' bullpen but Ynoa saved their arms. Allowed them to rest key players etc.

Kind of. Ynoa was penciled in as the game 5 starter. Now what do the braves do there? 2 bullpen games in a row in games 4 and 5?

Right, it's not ideal for them. But that was great damage control. They can have bullpen games and all of them will be fresh. Dodgers still need to f***ing mow them don't get me wrong but I would have liked to see them take out a few more pitchers.

But seeing what he did tonight I'm glad they extended Ynoa as much as they did :laugh:
 
I'm not too worried about it, in theory that should help the Dodgers, the deeper team. Only sucks if you get your bullpen run through, which the Dodgers failed to take advantage of last night.
