Apparently Arkansas hates the Cubs (Cards fans, no surprise) and Nunavut hates the White Sox (huh?).

Don't know what's more surprising... That the Cubs aren't the most hated team in Missouri or that there's apparently a plurality of White Sox haters in Nunavut (and Padres haters in the NWT)...

Granted, courtesy of SBNation, so take it for a grain of salt.

Cards fans still hate the Cubs. They're just butt hurt about the World Series. Plus they lost to Boston in 04 as well.

Eh, if any team beat the Cubs in the World Series and the Cards stunk, they'd be my new most hated team for a while, too.

Two votes might take the election in nunavut fwiw.

I know, there's probably a family of Tigers fans and a family of Cubs fans up there, and as a result they make a plurality over the one Yankees family, one Red Sox family, one Dodgers family, and one Braves family.

But... anybody hates the Padres? What's happening!?!?!

Looking back at an idiotic move in summer. The trading of Addison Reed

12 blown saves from Sox pitchers this year ,, At least with Reed the Sox would have some stability at closers role (Reed has 27 saves for Arizona)

Idiotic move at time and looks like complete disaster now

Matt Davidson has hit .196 with 132 strikeouts in 104 games for Charlotte

People said the same thing about Sergio Santos.

They'll find a new closer, they always do...

Santos was never close to the talent Reed was and is. You had a 500 save closer, everyone knew it and you traded him for Matt Davidson. Matt Davidson sucks so it was an ass ******. It's simple math.

Why do you take everything so personally?

Your claim was also that a pitcher who currently is below replacement level was going to be some kind of closing legend. He's just not that good.

EDIT: 500 saves? :biglaugh:

He's given up a lot of taters this year. I still stand by my feelings about him. His numbers are great and he's really finding his groove right now.

If anything, the Huston Street trade proves the Sox made a mistake.

They very well may have, I'm not gonna argue that. But I'll defend the idea of the trade to the grave.

1) 2014 was a throw away year from the start
2) The Sox had an asset they didn't see as that important to them, due to him not being of use to them for at least 1 if not 2 years, and it being a position they historically have a lot of success filling

It was the right idea at the time, to use your asset to hopefully fill a bigger long term need. Not all trades work out, it happens.

I don't understand the rush. Why couldn't they have waited for another deal, months, years, whatever it took. The upshot is you have a 500 save closer, oh the horror.
