Having watched some college basketball highlights ... I'm not that impressed with Marvin Bagley. He's kind of stiff and lefty dominant. He's big and has talent, but he has a long way to go. It's only one game, but it'll be interesting to see how he develops at Duke.
Mizzou's Michael Porter, Jr. looks like the real deal. He's big, athletic, fluid, and skilled with touch. It might take him some time to adjust to the college game, but his game will translate to the pros. He's going to be a good one. For Illini fans, I'm sorry to say Tilmon looks like he's going to be very good too. He's long, athletic, and fluid for a big man.
Arizona's Ayton looks like Patrick Ewing. He's extremely athletic and strong for a kid close to 7 feet. Surprisingly, he, too, looked a bit stiff. He's almost too muscle bound. It'll be interesting to see how he develops at Arizona.
It's all early ... but you never know about prospects until they play against players of similar physical talent and size. They are all going to be good college players, but I'm more interested how their game translate to today's NBA for the purpose of the Bulls.
