No debate over whether they took the wrong guy #1. The coach at the time wanted Doncic too. I wonder if people still think this is the best Suns team ever? Anyway, the NBA still blows. No comparison to the NHL playoffs.

IMO there was this weird quality to this year's team, regardless of their record, the valley didn't get nearly as pumped for this run. After last years collapse, and what happened here, that was obviously justified.

IMO the best Suns team was the first year D'Antonni was here. 2004 2005. You had the explosive pre-knee injuries Amar'e, pre-flaky back Nash, young and more athletic Shawn Marion, and most critically Joe Johnson. That team had a very poor bench but had no flaws otherwise. If JJ doesn't get his eye socket shattered who knows.

After that I'd have the 92-93 Suns. Then probably
94-95.
20-21
06-07
75-76

Then maybe this year's comes into play but it's also debatable between 93-94, and a few other of the Nash teams. Great on paper but didn't have "it".

I still think the 92-93 team was the best. Just ran into prime Jordan. I also believe if they trade KJ instead of Hornacek, they're better. Hornacek would have gelled with Barkely where KJ didn't and Barkley kicking it out to Hornacek for 3's would have been more effective than clashing with KJ. Ahhh when the NBA was actually watchable.

First Ayton, and now Murray cashed in during the past week. That's two star athletes who don't strike me as real team players.

This confuses me?

They strike me as 2 players who don't try and manipulate through media outlets.

Both likely assumed to be guilty of things others have surmised because they don't use social media to defend themselves against a bunch of rumors, heresay, etc.

The only personal faults I've ever seen are those I relate to young adults.

I have to say Ayton has acted years above his age, given all that transpired and all he did afterwards was say how glad he is its over and he can get back to work with his teammates.

I don't care about what the social media says. Look at Murray's body language after his own failures down the stretch, and in big games.

I see some of the same from Ayton, but maybe not as bad.

Is your comment about young adults relating to immaturity, and they'll grow with experience?

Yes I think they'll grow with experience. It's ironic because Monty Williams has given us so many examples using himself as an example of how much he's learned since he was around their age and older.

There's a lot of potential miscommunication if forming judgment based on body language....kinda like interpreting a text message...

Like a lot of opinions, heresay, etc....there's opinions on one side, and opinions on the other side and the truth somewhere in the middle.

I don't think Ayton and Murray are in the same category. Murray is a petulant little bitch who also happens to be talented. The Cards are just in a position where they don't really wanna blow it up again so they were kinda stuck.

Ayton while underwhelming at times doesn't have maturity issues to nearly the same extent. He's got a limited window to earn as much as he can, given that he doesn't possess transcendent skills. Good yes, but his value is in his overall game and if a couple things go wrong those guys end up fodder real quick. I don't fault him for trying to get his payday.

There was obvious reason as to why it was there. They have zero backbone and will be taken advantage of in future contract negotiations.

I'd love to see an article like this for winning the Stanley Cup....

Arizona Coyotes
Chance to win Stanley Cup: 0.00001%
Chance to make the playoffs: 0.00002%

If Clayton Keller hits the 200 point mark, Nick Schmaltz has ten 7 point games and the following chip in 50 goals apiece: Kassian, O'Brien, Ritchie, and Fischer (51 - scores on every shot on goal this season).

"hell freezes over" is more concise.

Coyotes winning The Cup at ASU would be an epic troll. Legendary stuff.

Not sure if anyone watches, but the Dbacks have become much more entertaining to watch. A lot of young talent and new energy. Too bad we won't finish at .500, but the future is looking bright.

If more sponsors ditch the Suns, Sarver could just be forced out from pressure in that regards possibly? PayPal won't renew if he's still there after this year. Curious to see if any other sponsors have the same sentiment.
