I remember that someone on HFIsles made a list of all of Butch Goring's botches over the course of a season. It was a work of art. Anyone want to be a hero and dig it up?

AINEC, roaring back etc are just plain stupid

Funniest running gags and memorable jokes to me, in no particular order
Ryder, Halak, 2nd
Outhouse
Turkey Girl
NHL player Derek Morris  (that's a pretty underrated one)
Goatlender (might've been the most epic one IIRC, it's been a while...)

There was the amazing Minnesota Wild GDT where one guy posted hundreds of posts by himself in there.

There are full threads on the Flames board that are eerily similar. Like 6 posts by one poster to 1 other post by someone else.

Lowe: “And lastly (talking loudly now) I’ll say that there’s one other guy in hockey today that is still working in the game that has won more Stanley Cups than me. So I think I know a little bit about winning, if there’s ever a concern.”

Unsustainable.

I've been wondering why the usage of that phrase disappeared lately. Maybe different vocabulary replaced it?

What's the NHL player Derek Morris story?

Pretty hard to describe the greatness of it, it was basically a dude referring to Derek Morris as "NHL player Derek Morris" and making all kinds of weird statements and questions, especially about his "buzzcut haircut". Maybe someone skilled with waybackmachine could help.
