OT Thread Part IIX: The How Do Roman Numerals Work? Edition

Hunny so sexy.

"What a beautiful beautiful goal for Matt Hunwick"
"What a horrible horrible defensive play by Stu Bickel"

Flat on his feet, reached out his with stick like he's pushing chips at a roulette table.

My favorite kind of those calls is ''What a bad goal that was to give up. He's gotta stop that, he can't let that in'' and on the next view of the replay ''What a fantastic shot that was! That was the perfect shot!''

Discovered Imagine Dragons. Night Visions (album) had 5 songs that I loved on the radio, but never actually knew. More impressive is that none of those are why I bought the album.

Being that the NFL thread is locked i figure I'd ask this here:

The other day somebody called into Mike Francesca's show talking about Jim Fassel and mentioned that he was basically blackballed from the league.

The caller was trying to get into it but Mike cut him off.

Does anybody know what he did? I googled Fassel and blackball/controversy and I didn't see anything that would warrant him being cast away from the league.

Was curious if anybody here knew of whatever rumor it was that is going around about him???

Girl sends me this text today:

"I want to be the reason you look down at your phone and smile..."

Here's Jason advice in looking for female dating options. Because I don't get into any of that myself and I have a different perspective, having gotten enough intelligence from both sides, all there really is to it is to hunt in the right places. You ain't gonna fish a bass in a dirty pond and don't complain when you catch a blue fish when you fish at a lake called the blue fish lake. It sounds dumb and obvious but you'd be surprise at the obviousness of the sequence of causality in retrospect by whoever was involved with someone not so perfect.

Machinehead: she does want it. She sent the text to flirt but added some humor due to her own insecurities so that she'd have an out if her flirtation was misplaced. If you are attracted to this girl it is a clear opening to initiate flirtation or ask her to do something together.

I can't be the only one that thinks the phrase "She wants the D" is stupid, am I?

The D in general is an adequate and amusing replacement for the real thing. Finding it annoying is probably silly considering there really isn't a way of saying she wants to bang that doesn't come off as chauvinist.

My friend once told this girl who was sick (minor stuff, like a cold) and he was like, "I'll come over and give you some Vitamin D", and the girl was so lost. Damn blondes and their lack of humor.

Hmmm you might be right. In the words of Arnie:

"DANKS FOR DE TIP!!! ARRRRGHHHH!!!!!"

When did Sean Couturier become the best prospect in the NHL? Was this always the case or did this just happen today?
