As for the girl advice, it honestly depends on the type of girl she is. She may relish all the attention if you text her often. She also may feel that you're smothering her really quickly. Best bet is to play it cool and in the middle. Have conversations, but when they end, don't be in a rush to start another one. Wait for a legit reason to text her. Then you can either see if she texts you or you can just randomly text her a "just wanted to say hi" or something along those lines.
